Cartier Women’s Initiative launches in the Philippines, featuring the great work of women entrepreneurs in the country
Cartier Women’s Initiative 2020 Edition is a great opportunity for these women entrepreneurs to bring their businesses and ideas to the next level. This initiative was launched in the Philippines last July 31, 2019 with a search for women entrepreneurs who head businesses with the potential to grow into the future.
Global brand Cartier in partnership with INSEAD business school and McKinsey & Company launched Cartier Women’s Initiative in 2006. The program supports women running creative, financially viable, and impact-driven companies. These women-led companies make concrete contributions towards solutions-finding for our planet’s future. Since 2006, the program received more than 18,000 applications from women entrepreneurs from over 200 companies in more than 50 countries around the world. The participating companies in this programme received support and mentorship from over 400 jury members and coaches.
Awards & Prizes
The final twenty-one finalists, representing the top three businesses from each of the seven regions, will receive business and financial coaching and mentorship, access to business coaching workshops and networking sessions, and media visibility via the program’s local and international media and press efforts.
Seven laureates (one from each region) will each receive US$ 100,000 in prize money, while the 14 finalists (the two runners-up from each region) will receive US$ 30,000. Beyond the prize money, all 21 finalists will receive a scholarship to attend the six-day INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Executive Education Programme (pending admission to the programme based on eligibility criteria and selection process), continuing the support for the development of their businesses.
