This is on the spot coding marathon. Fresh codes. Open source downloads can apply to framework only. The event permits designs beforehand, such as digital mockups, open source frameworks and anything else available to everyone, but make sure to keep designs within those limits.
Projects and codes used in previous hackathons will be disqualified
Make sure to read through our Code of Conduct. Those in violation of the rules will be disqualified

Judging Criteria

Technical Viability/Difficulty (30%)
Technically impressive. Did the technology involve AI, Big Data, Interface, etc.
Business Viability (30%)
Insightful valuation that this prototype or MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is viable for local business and scaling.
Social Index (25%)
Did the team solve a particular problem? Did they articulate the solution to the Jury Board?
Design and Learning Stretch (15%)
Did the team stretch themselves to learn something new? What kind of projects have they worked in before or domain expertise contribution?

To equip, enable, and empower innovative individuals who want to affect change through technology and catalyze 1,000,000 Impact-Driven Philippine Tech Start ups by 2050.

Q4: What is the timeline of the entire Impact2050 program?

The 2021 program will feature three unique phases of the program: the learning sessions, the virtual Impact Hackathons and incubation program. The Learning Sessions and Impact Hackathons will start in February until November of 2021. The Incubation program will have 3 cohort batches lasting 3 months each starting April 2021.

Q4: What is Impact Hackathon Good Governance?

Introducing the concept of governance, which refers to the process of decision-making and process by which decisions are implemented, leads to assessing the causes of bad governance. These include the absence of voice, political instability, corruption, lagging economy and a lack of transparency. With the pandemic, it is crucial that private sector innovators collaborate with government in crafting solutions that would improve the system, and be able to impact all sectors of society positively.
